Clear before complicated
We explain surrogacy, compensation, costs, timelines, and responsibilities in plain language before asking anyone to make a decision.
Surrogacy asks families and surrogates to place an extraordinary amount of trust in the people guiding the process. Vias was created to earn that trust through preparation, clear communication, and work that is done thoroughly, not approximately.
My own fertility journey changed the way I understood family building. It made the uncertainty, waiting, hope, and vulnerability behind every decision feel deeply real.
Later, while leading surrogacy programs and coordinating complex cases, I saw how much the quality of the work matters. A missed detail can become a delay. A vague answer can create unnecessary fear. A poorly explained fee, insurance issue, or medical step can affect an entire journey.
I founded Vias because intended parents and surrogates deserve more than a friendly point of contact. They deserve someone who prepares, follows through, asks the next question, and keeps working until the issue is actually resolved.
Karen Estrada brings a background in law, finance, operations, and U.S. surrogacy program leadership. Her work has included intended-parent support, surrogate coordination, insurance, legal and medical clearances, newborn coverage, financial oversight, compliance, case escalations, and the daily decisions that keep a journey moving.
That experience shaped the standard behind Vias: every recommendation should be researched, every commitment should be tracked, and every client should understand what is happening and why.
“I want every intended parent and every surrogate to feel that the person guiding them is paying attention, thinking ahead, and willing to do the work properly.”
We explain surrogacy, compensation, costs, timelines, and responsibilities in plain language before asking anyone to make a decision.
Insurance reviews, documents, deadlines, payments, appointments, and follow ups are handled with the understanding that one overlooked item can affect the whole journey.
We do not stop at forwarding a message. We identify what is needed, coordinate the right people, and work toward a practical resolution.
Intended parents need confidence in the process. Surrogates need respect, protection, and support. Strong journeys require both.
Vias works with intended parents building their families through gestational surrogacy and with surrogates considering or beginning a journey.
Our role is to help intended parents and surrogates move forward with preparation, respect, and work that reflects the importance of the journey.
